Shoe for winter, but needs upgrading in comfort & durability

Very nice Shoe when it's cold outside . The 2 pair I purchased got me thru the 2018 winter . Although they were large in the beginning , I did rinse & hand wash these shoes as needed in cool water and continuously dried them on a passively heated shoe dryer . This caused them to shrink up some, to a nice snug fit ,and caused the upper rear of the shoe to really dig into the achilles area making them unwearable . So at this point I decided to risk cutting out the rear pull tab area to correct this issue and it worked .The shoes did not fall apart from this modification , and were comfortable to wear again . The only place that wool blend material did wear through was between the big toe and the toe next to it ; although it wasn't a an issue at first , as this wear progressed the shoe became less wearable . This happened on both pairs of shoes I have . Yes I bought a second pair . If I got one wet , I had another pair to use while drying it . And in spite of these issues , I really liked these shoes and will buy them again if they are offered for the 2019 winter .

Great casual shoe!

Bought a grey pair on sale. This is my 6th pair of toe shoes (5th five fingers) and I wanted something more casual. These are super comfortable - I would describe them like slippers for feel. Length is true to size for me straigh out of the box and after a month of solid use have not really changed. Width is a little generous and I have wide feet. Would be perfect with socks. Only gripe is the high back is a little wearing on the Achilles so I wear them a little loose. This is getting better with use. For looks, they don't shout five fingers and I think they look great with jeans.

Holes on the inner side of the big toes

Disappointed that these barely lasted 6 months of regular casual wear. Noticed last month that on the inner side of my big toe on each shoe that a hole had worn through. After about 5 years, I'm starting to consider going back to regular shoes with how quickly my Vibrams wear out. Disposable shoes should come at a disposable price.

Love wearing them but some design issues.

Love the shoes. They are comfortable, warm, and I enjoy wearing them. The only issue is the top eyelets pull open and the loop the laces go through falls off it you aren't careful. So far I have found it each time and you can squeeze the eyelet shut. But seems to me its a design weakness.

yes, if offered in a 48. cmon, Vibram, help!

I have multiple pair of Vibram and wear them to combat Neuropothy. Absolutely love the shoes and have tried other brands but, not the same. The only beef I have is, very limited 48's. Unless you like black, not much else to pick from. Help this big foot community. Peace out

Size 48 needed

All boot sizes need to be larger. If there was a size 48 I would buy every color. Help Vibram!!!!!

Comfy and warm!!

I've had mine for a few months, now, and wear 'em for work. Some days, I forget to take them off, for hours, after I get home. One of my *favorite* pair of Vibram!!

Wear of wool between toes

I bought these shoes in Aug 16 and wore them about 8 hours a week for the first 4 months and then on a wet day my feet where soaked and then I inspected the shoe and found wear in between the toes. Called Vibram and the shoe was out of warranty and nothing can be done. New shoe of no use no wear on soles or anywhere else. So bottom line DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

A tighter fit than Classic

Having only ever worn the Classic before, this feels a bit tight. Ya may want to order the next size up if you get these. I wear a 47 though, and they don't make these any larger than that. Despite this, I took them for a winter walk, and they are pretty warm. They've got a thicker sole than the classics and wool upper that, combined, stave off the chill. Would buy again if they ever make them in 48.
